About the Designer

In the late 80s and early 90s, Heidi Hafner found the Internet. She learned through experimentation that she could produce a website to display some of her own interests. Although there was software available to develop her web pages, she found learning the code was the best way to immerse her into building clean pages.

Heidi’s hobby turned into a business in 2003 when she met a small business owner in need of a website makeover. It was then that she decided to try her hand at designing websites professionally.

Heidi found that many small businesses saw the need for a web presence for their marketing and advertising needs, but either didn’t know where to look to get one or couldn’t afford to hire a company to build one. It has been her goal to reach out to small business owners and help build their web presence into something that would produce more traffic to their products.

Heidi is a stay-at-home/work-at-home mom. She has home schooled her two sons for the past 11 years. It has been a challenging, yet satisfying adventure to teach and learn alongside her two boys. Making the decision to home school has taught her that you are never too old or too young to learn something new. There is always room to learn more.
